Privacy Policy

This policy describes what VizAI does with information today. VizAI is run by Connexion AI, LLC.
Information We Collect
- Account info: email, business name, website URL, location, phone number
- Business data: keywords, competitors, business description, content preferences
- Report data: AI visibility scores, the questions we ask AI tools and the full text of their answers, the listings and website details we check, and competitor sightings
- Free check: if you use the free check, the business name, website, location and keyword you enter, and your email if you choose to give it
- Partner requests: if you request a report through one of our partners' websites, your name, email, company and website
- Technical data: your IP address, stored with free checks, email sign-ups, partner report requests and waitlist sign-ups, and used to limit repeated requests. For waitlist sign-ups we also store your browser's user agent.
- Chat: messages you type into the chat on our website, and the AI's replies
- Payment info: payments are processed by Stripe. We store only Stripe customer and subscription IDs, never card numbers.
- Usage data: our public website pages use the Google Ads tag, which may set cookies. It is not used on the pages you see when signed in.
How We Use Your Data
- Ask AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity) about businesses in your category and area, and record whether they name you
- Check public listings and search results, and read your website
- Write reports. Parts of each report are written by AI tools from what we found.
- Send reports and the emails that deliver them, and answer messages you send us
- Improve our service
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run VizAI, and with partners as described below:
- AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity): your business name, website, location, category, keywords and competitor details. Anthropic’s Claude also searches the web and reads your website. Chat messages go to Anthropic. Each provider handles this data under its own terms.
- DataForSEO: your business name, location, website, category and keywords, to check listings and search results
- Resend: sends our email
- Google: our business email (Google Workspace); sign-in and password-reset emails (sent through Google Apps Script and Gmail); encrypted database backups (Google Drive); the Google Ads tag described above; and fonts on some pages (Google Fonts)
- DigitalOcean: hosts the server our database runs on
- Netlify: hosts our website and runs our server code. Its logs record requests.
- Stripe: payment processing
- jsDelivr: serves a code library to some pages, which means it receives your IP address
- Partners: if you requested your report through one of our partners (for example, a marketing agency that resells VizAI), the report email is sent from the partner’s email server under the partner’s name, and the partner receives a copy
Data Retention
We do not currently delete data automatically. We keep account, report, free-check, email and partner-request data, including the AI answers used to build each report, until you ask us to delete it. Deleting a report also deletes the AI answers stored with it. We also keep a separate research archive of AI answers about the businesses we measure, including their competitors. Nightly encrypted database backups are kept for 30 days. Report links shared with you do not expire; ask us and we will turn a link off.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@connexionai.tech.
Our marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe here or email us. Report emails sent on a partner’s behalf do not currently include an unsubscribe link; reply to the email or contact us to stop them.
